We had a great day at Lydgate Beach. It’s perfect for the kids with a shallow protected area to snorkel and play in the water. We tried to talk Taya into snorkeling. She snorkels at home in the pool and loves it. But, she took one step in the water and said no way :)

Holden started teething and spiked a fever the day after we go to Kauai and was heard to manage most of the trip. The minute we got home he perked up again. We had to walk around with him at the beach for half an hour to convince him why we should stay. He finally decided dumping sand on his head was fun – thank goodness.
