The kids had an awesome vacation at Davis Bed and Breakfast (aka Grandma and Grandpa's House) while we were in Bend. They were so excited for their "vacation". They had been crossing the days off on the calendar leading up to it. My parents decided the kids had been looking forward to this so much, they had to step up their game. And that they did - gourmet breakfasts, cookie making, hot tub parties, dinner at Red Robin and ...... Six Flags Marine World - with three kids under 6 - you go Mom and Dad! The kids had a blast all weekend and did not mention us once. (Yes, this makes me thrilled!).

Your parents are great grandparents and love having there grandkid around them. You guys are very lucky to live to close. I bet the kids will talk about this little vacation away from Mom and Dad for many years...that is great!
Wow. That is impressive! My kids would want us to leave every weekend if they got a mini vacation like that too!
I'm even jealous! I'd love to stay at the Davis Bed & Breakfast! Or maybe I'll just send my kids there for a few days :)
