Thanksgiving Performance and Feast
We started our Thanksgiving Celebration with Dawson's Kindergarten Thanksgiving performance and feast. How adorable. I had his "I am thankful" song stuck in my head for days
Dawson and his teacher, Mrs. Locsin
Holden is 4 Months Old!
Holden turned 4 months on 11/25. At his doctor appointment he weighed 15 pounds and 2.8 ounces (58th percentile) and measured 24 3/4" long (46th percentile) . He is getting so big! All is well and he is a happy, growing baby.
Thanksgiving Day
On Thanksgiving morning, Dawson and Taya climbed into our bed and we talked about all the things we are thankful for. Topping the list was our family, our health, our jobs and Grandma and Grandpa living so close. We loved this so much, we decided to make it an annual tradition.
We spent the day at my parents enjoying a Thanksgiving feast and decided it was time to let Holden join in on the fun - so he got to eat rice cereal for the first time. He LOVED it! We have a happy eater. He loves eating.
The Weekend
We got our gorgeous Christmas tree first thing Friday morning - so we got the pick of the liter. Then, we did some shopping and got some great Black Friday deals. The rest of the weekend was spent decorating for Christmas. It is so hard to decorate for Christmas in a new house. I had to figure out what I wanted to do - so it took twice as long. AND - the ladies from church are coming to check out our house on the Annual Christmas Home Tour - no pressure. We have been up late for a few nights and I am looking forward to getting more sleep again. Jason was putting up Christmas lights in the dark on Saturday - he didn't finish until 10:30PM. Now, that's a good husband!
Baby Food
With Dawson, I made almost all of my baby food. With Taya - I was burnt out and stressed out and didn't make any. This time, I have the kick to make it again. I recently bought a new and bigger food processor - which makes it much faster. So, we made our first batch this weekend - super fast and easy. The big kids loved to help and best of all - Holden LOVES carrots!

can't wait to see your house on Thursday! I'm sure it will look great!
We are all looking forward to seeing your house on Thursday! Thanks so much for opening it up to our RS sisters...I know they will love it.
Now that your house is done...ya want to come and finish mine for me too???
Holden's eyes are so beautiful. sounds like things are going good and I'm too am excited to see your house this week.
Your kids are so cute - actually, beautiful is more fitting. I'm impressed with your baby food. I remember you telling me about that - I'm going to have to try that out when Will's old enough to eat it.
Hopefully I'll be able tome see your house all decorated for Christmas tonight (Knowing me, I'll probably forget that Enrichment's tonight within the next few hours).
You'll have to give me some tips... I've just started making babyfood too. I made carrots a few days ago and just got my ice cube trays yesterday so now I can freeze the bananas I made yesterday.
