Shop 'til you Drop!

I felt the desperate need this weekend to get our Christmas shopping done, so we could enjoy the rest of the month without stressing out about shopping. Our weekend was packed full with other stuff we had to get done, including showing our rental home to 3 prospective tenants since our current ones would like to move. So, my parents were nice enough to have the kids spend the night last night so we could shop until we dropped - about 11:30 to be exact. And yes - stores are really open that late! Jason and I turned the evening into a great date night with a nice dinner at Cheesecake Factory while we poured over sale ads and toy magazines and made a shopping list - then we hit the stores.

My sister, Jessica and her husband were at my parents house and the kids had a blast playing the Wii with Uncle Will - Thanks Will! Unfortunately, Holden was struggling taking a bottle - bummer! I am too lazy to pump and give him a bottle periodically, but I guess I need to start doing that to make sure he will keep taking a bottle. We did pick up Holden and bring him home when we were done. We got almost all the shopping done and had a nice relaxing Sunday morning. It is such a treat having involved grandparents who live so close - we love it. Thanks Mom and Dad!
