Dawson’s Birthday started out with a “7” whole wheat pancake with buttermilk syrup – Dawson's favorite! Then, he got a call from Grandma and Grandpa with a special happy birthday song.
The whole family got together for Dawson’s special birthday dinner of Broccoli Chicken Cheesecake, his favorite.

Now, it’s time for the presents…
The BIG surprise present this year…a Wii! Look at that face. We got him on video and he was shocked and thrilled! I always said I would never get my kids a video gaming system. I have had a bad feeling about them ever since my brother ditched a week of school in the 5th grade to stay home while my parents were at work and play Mario Brothers on his Nintendo. But one thing I have learned as a parent is to “Never Say Never” :) The Wii is different in my book and it is much more physical. So, I was finally talked into it…

What Dawson loves at age 7:
He loves wall ball, the Wii and playing with friends. He gets bored super easy and often asks what fun thing he can do next. Every night he wants to know what is going on the next day – he likes having fun things to look forward to and is very social. He loves having a “party breakfast” where we eat pancakes and crank up his favorite song Taio Cruz’s “Break Your Heart”. Then he busts out his break dance moves for us to enjoy. He can snow ski, water ski and likes playing baseball and soccer.
