Soakin' in the last of summer

We celebrated the last hot day of the summer by ditching soccer and going boating with the Kndutsens.  It was 105 and was a perfect day on the boat...not too many people were out (maybe they actually went to their soccer games) and the weather was just right - hot and no wind.  We couldn't have asked for a better day.  All the kids did the EZSki and we even got Amy and Pete up on the double skis.

These kids had soooo much fun together.  Lots of laughs and giggles.

Taya saw her friend doing the EZSki and decided she was finally brave enough.  She did a great job!

Go Pete and Amy...Just like riding a bike :)

We ended the day with girls’ night at the Brad Paisley concert. Dirks Bentley opened for him. The concert was awesome. It was prefect weather for a concert under the stars. I love an outdoor concert in the summer. It always makes me really nostalgic. The video production for Brad Paisley’s show was the best I have ever seen. It was very interactive and fun. At some point during the concert Brad talked about soaking’ in the last bit of summer and I thought - that it exactly what I did today and I loved every minute of it. Goodbye summer…I will miss you!
