Dawson said some hilarious things when I put him to bed tonight that I just had to write down.
Dawson has been missing Jason a lot lately. The last two nights he has climbed in our bed in the middle of the night to snuggle up with his Dad.
Me: "I know you miss your Daddy, but you need to stay in your own bed tonight. You can snuggle with Dad in the morning."
Dawson with a sad face: "But I miss Dad because I don't get to sleep with him like you do".
Poor Dawson, life's not fair :)
Dawson used to complain about kindergarten saying he had to do too many crafts. He would say "Mom, I don't want to go to school today because I just have to make so much stuff."
Tonight he said: "Mom, you lied. You said when I got to 1st grade I didn't have to do so many crafts. But, I do. I just do crafts and activities all day..." Ugh, Sigh...
Dawson: "Why do I waste all my play time?"
Me: "What do you mean?"
Dawson annoyed: "I just have school, then soccer, then dinner, then bath and then I wasted all my play time."

I'm totally with Dawson on the crafts issue. Just tell him to be grateful he won't be in Relief Society in 15 years...
He is so funny! Thanks for the laugh.
It's a good thing Dawson won't be in RS anytime soon. So funny about the crafts!
That's pretty funny. I need to be better about writing things like that down.
