A Frog’s Mother

Today I was a frog’s mother :)  Taya’s pre-school class did a mother’s day performance where they recited “Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do You See”.  Taya was a Green Frog…and a cute one I might add! 

 

Mother's Day Tea Party

Dawson invited me to a super cute tea party at his school. He drew a picture of me, which looks nothing like me. I was quite confused by the picture and was wondering if that is what he thinks I look like. His teacher saw my puzzled look and laughed and said she drew a picture of her mother to show the kids an example and Dawson copied it!

Here is what Dawson thinks about me.

• My mom's favorite color is red
• My mom has black hair (???)
• My mom weighs 12 pounds (yahoo!)
• My mom loves to eat Broccoli Chicken Cheesebake (Dawson's favorite)
• Her favorite place is Disneyland (another one of Dawson's favorite)
• She is 21 years old (yeah!)
• Her birthday is July 21st (???)
• I like it when my mom and I play candy land
• My mom spends a lot of time swimming in the hot tub (Dawson's favorite again)

Taya's Mother's Day Celebration

Taya had a super cute Mother's Day performance at school, which I missed due to a business trip - I know, you can all hate me now. But, my sister, Jessica was there and Taya was thrilled about that. She was so shy, Ms. Jill had to stand with her and she covered her face for most of the performance. She was soooo proud of the candle she made me. She had ruined the surprise and had been telling me about it for days :)
