We had a blast at Disneyland this year. My parents came with us and we spent two full days enjoying the Disney magic. Dawson and Taya were so excited to go. They had a countdown chart where they marked off the number of days until our Disneyland trip.
Unfortunately, Holden chose this week to cut his molars. Ouch! He had a fever and spent a lot of time chewing his finger. But, his life was still OK as long as he had Grandpa for his buddy. Those two were tied at the hip the whole trip. Holden would not let him out of his sight. He LOVES his Grandpa. I have never seen anything like it. He will cry “Bampa, Bampa”…so sad. I am so glad my dad is happy to be his buddy and loves him so much. They have such a special relationship.
Taya’s favorite rides were the Teapots, Carousel and Small World.
Dawson’s favorites were California Screamin’ (he couldn’t get enough!!!!!) and the Jedi Training.
Mom was HILARIOUS on Mickey’s Fun Wheel Ferris wheel. She is the one that chose the “swinging” side. But, when it started swinging she freaked out screaming to get her off. I told her to stop screaming since she was scaring Holden, so she started to scream silently. Too funny! Dawson, my Dad and I just laughed and laughed. They did stop the Ferris wheel and let her and Holden out! I love these pictures – my mom screaming and holding on for dear life and Holden wishing she would stop!
Holden was so excited about the cars. He LOVES cars.
My kids finally took pictures with a few characters this year. In the past, they wanted nothing to do with them. But, when Taya saw Cinderella giving hugs to the little girls, she was in! Cinderella was so sweet with her – she gave her a hug, a kiss on the cheek and spoke to her a bit.
Even Holden got in on the action. He was so excited to see Mickey and the Bears. He ran up to the Critter Country Bears and wanted a hug. So sweet!
Naptime!
We spent hours on Tom Sawyer Island – exploring, running, hiding in caves…
We will miss you Disneyland – we had a great time!

Great pics Jen! What a blast! Our goal is to wait until Gabe the Babe is tall enough to ride all the rides...I don't think we'll make it though!
