We had an awesome weekend with the Blakes, my best friend Christie and her husband Ben. They came to visit all the way from Portland.
We enjoyed a day at the lake and we even got Ben up on the wakeboard - Yahoo!

And some game playing - Settlers of Catan. OK, I was a sore looser once, but I was really tired and I made up for it with my "happy face" the second round :)It was really great to visit and so nice of my parents to take my kids to Six Flags on Saturday so we could spend some time with our friends. Christie hasn't seen my kids in years, so it was really fun for her to see my kids. I love that even though Christie and I don't see each other often, our bond and love for each other remains strong.

Are you guys Settlers fans? We used to play ALL the time -- before children, of course! Glad you had so much fun with your friends!
How fun! One of these years I want to do a reunion with you guys!! Maybe in Portland (that's not too far of a drive for me). I'm glad you had fun together. You look awesome in your skiing picture too.
Meg - I would love a reunion, that would be fun. And Stacey - we love Settlers! We should play some time. Those darn kids always get in the way:) But, we turned on a movie and played anyway!
I'm all for a reunion. I totally should have stopped on my way down to Southern CA. I can just never cram in everything I want to do on our vacations. I always only see my sister Michelle for 24 hours or less.
